This artwork evolved from the idea that we are all different human beings, however have so many things in common. We are always in "relationships" with others, whether it is with a neighbor on a very casual basis or with a close friend. Often we forget that we are held together on this planet by common concerns. We all need clean air, healthy food and safe living environments to thrive. 

Sometimes we see each other in terms of competition rather than community. We see each other not as someone but more objectified, as less than human. In our modern era, it is more important than ever to see each other in as similar to ourselves. In our era, our survival depends on this attitude.
